If there is one thing I want our readers, sponsors, donors, and friends to think of when they read about His Chase, it would be this:
God is able to accomplish all that He desires in the lives of His children, no matter what. No matter how small you feel for the call He has given you. No matter the obstacle that looms in the way. No matter what people try to do or not do to help or hurt you.No matter the pain or trouble. No matter the fear.
No matter WHAT, He finishes what He starts, and His plans will always prevail. (Proverbs 19:21)
I say this to you, because He keeps whispering it to me, through the beautiful and resilient kids we serve.

Dear faithful friends,
Why do I always feel like I must start a blog with an apology?
We realize that for six long months, we have given you no new material to read here. (And, I'm sure you've come and checked every day since November, wondering what could possibly be keeping us from updating you on the latest and greatest His Chase news.)
During that time, we've had:
...two major trips to Rwanda, new school years (and new schools!) for almost all of our students, children added to His Chase, children who have left His Chase, wins, losses, heartaches, victories, children making bad decisions, children making good decisions, times of stormy waves, times of calm waters, scary changes, awesome miracles, and everything in between.

Nehemiah ranks up there with one of my all-time favorite Bible guys. I've never actually sat and numbered anyone, but I am fairly confident that he would be in my top five.
I think it's because I feel like I can really get to know him and his heart as he writes. His passion and prayerfulness overflows in every chapter. And, forget the Fortune 500 guys and politicians of today's author lineup...he is one of the best leaders I've ever read about.
My goodness, was he a guy sold out for God or what?
