We are excited today to report back to all of you on our trip to Rwanda last month. This post will be more factual in nature (and probably boring to some) but very important from a His Chase stewardship perspective. Chelsea wrote some great entries on our family blog shortly after our return that captured the truly amazing events and stories from this journey.
Our work in Rwanda seems to have been continuously evolving. As we have traveled there over the last three years, God just keeps clarifying what He has for us to do there. We have had various campaigns over this time, for everything from clothing and shoes, to developmental toys, to new bunk beds, to formula and food.
The baby room is a busy place at Noel. So, I'm sure you could all guess where most of us spent hours every day. :) Well, maybe not hours. But, we certainly all found our time to cuddle the precious babies at Noel. There are so many of them, and there are so many needs in this room. But, there is also so much love to give and get back in this room too!
Oh, if you could have seen this bus in person. The picture doesn't accurately show how WEIGHED DOWN this bus was full of supplies for Noel. It's a miracle that it made it all the way to Gisenyi, actually. I have no doubt the tires--and possibly the engine--had to be replaced after this road trip.
I tried to come up with my "Top Ten Moments" on this trip, but there are really too many to even count! So, these are ten highlights from our trip that just came to me first...I'm sure there will be more to come.
